The national council has a watch on the LPN programs in the Philippines. If planning to get licensed in CA, be prepared to provide or your school provide a lot of documentation. Kennedy Global use to have a promotion on their website that said they were approved by the US Board of Nursing (there is NO US Board of Nursing within the LPN/LVN as all states have different qualifying regulations.

Kennedy Review Center is on the eyes of a lot of LVN/LPN Boards as they do some advertising that is questionable. No distance learning is accepted in CA for the LVN for theory or clinical hours. The old trick was to get a license in another state and then endorse to CA but the Boards now send copies of transcripts/methods of qualifying with the verification of license.

Those KRC people are nothing but losers!! They will all just tell you that after graduating, you'll find work that kind of stuff.
Even if you pass nclex, you still can't work abroad or here in our country cause PN is not even recognized by PNA or other medical associations..

If somebody is planning on studying PN in any school, you better study bachelor's degree, Or maybe caregiving or EMT course.

I went to this school 3 years ago. The school will tell you lies, lies and all lies. They will not and can't help you find job here and abroad. Even if you pass the exam (nclex), you still can't work here or any part of the world. You can work if and only if you have relatives in US or canada who can sponsor you to go there. One of my former classmates was sponsored by her relatives, now she's already in canada. My other classmate when to UK, without the help of the school (KGSB). But had to pay like 200,000+ just to get there. Which is really crazy. As for me and my other former classmates who went to that school, still searching for a job, others are studying BSN. so, go figure!
And oh, by the way, the school even asked my friend who went to UK to make some kind of testimonial or something that the school helped her to find work in the UK. which is really absurd, don't you think???!! But my friend, didn't reply to their email.

Would be interested in how your friend got registered in the UK as LPN isn''t recognised by the NMC and Enrolled nurses haven't been trained for over a decade. I was a ENG converted to RN

this is what the NMC states

We will not accept your application if you are a second level nurse or the equivalent, for
example an enrolled nurse, a licensed practical nurse, a vocational nurse, a state certified
nurse, a nursery nurse, a nurse midwife technician, a nurse aid and so on.

Registering as a Registered nurse or midwife if trained outside the EU

My friend who is working in the UK doesn't work as LPN there. I think she works as a Caregiver/Auxillary Nurse at a Nursing home in kent and at the same time do some paperworks (paperworks=NVQ program).

This school is saying that once you graduate they will have you take the nclez in west virginia, and once you get your license there, you can have your licensed endorsed in the state you want through reciprocity. First of all they are accredited by tesda yes but in my case I am really having some reservations on whether CA will approve the endorsement even if WV accepts my application since CA will have a thorough research on this school before doing anything. But as Kennedy Global said, the transcript does not indicate whether you had a distance learning or in campus method.

Anyone who has undergone LVN schooling in the Philippines and then was accepted by CA board please clarify.
