i know that you have to be a licensed nurse before you can undergo ivt training in hospitals, but can you present just the certificate of passing? i don't want to have to wait till may until i can do this since i have free time now.

where are you going to have your ivt? some hospitals do accept the CLAIM STUB for your license, then they'll just ask you to present the license itself when you're going to get from them the certification of attendance for your ivt training and or before they'll let you have your completion of cases. hope this helps.

You can claim the IVT card 2 months after passing the requirements in ANSAP. I hope this helps.

LOL!i claimed my ivt card just last nov. 2008, i was amused when they(ansap) were instructing those who're submitting their cases to follow up their cards after 2 months because previously, as well as mine, the instruction was to follow it up after a month. though i'm not that surprised at all, because you can barely see the piled up cases in their office. i was just disappointed when i claimed my ivt card because i made a follow up call the day i went to their office and they said that it was done already. but when i got there to claim it, there's no such thing done yet and it took me more than an hour because they made mine on the spot. at that time i wanna go home already and return some other day but i can't. just thinking the time that i have traveled and the money i have spent just to claim that ivt card, arrgh,i woke up 4am in the morning and had a 4-hour travel just to claim it! every time i got a glimpse of that day i feel really disappointed though i know that i really can't blame them.

You need your PRC License when you register for IVT Training in Lung Center of the Philippines. As for NKTI, they rarely hold IVT Training.

I had my training in Medical Center Muntinlupa last month. They conduct IVT training every 2 weeks and the fee is P2500. You can pay P1000 to be registered and pay the rest on the 1st day of training. After the training, they will let you choose a shift for your completion of cases. They are very accomodating so you'll have no problems. Once you're done with the cases, you have an option to have your requirements submitted thru their head nurse who visits ANSAP on a regular basis.

i am now currently enrolled in Martinez Memorial center for IVT training. you only have to pay 1,800 for the program(exclusive of 500php processing fee and 450php ansap ID) they are now up for May 19-21. earlier dates were already closed.

ANSAP training for IV certification/license is limited, by that I mean that not all of the nurses in the country can apply for the training especially if they are away from Manila. Here in Bacolod, I haven't heard of any upcoming or scheduled training, since I became a nurse.

That is why, I'd favor the change into a federal form of government for the Philippines, so that islands like Negros Occidental can stand on its own.

Like in the US, each state has its own board of nursing; it'd prefer that here too.

I don't know if they'd empower us really, the nurses from the province without even going to Manila...
