iv therapy training

by kokoy

Hi! Does anyone know any institution or any health care facility in Cebu,or Cagayan de Oro, Philippines where I can enroll for IV therapy training. I want to be trained or become certified IV therapist before working to a hospital. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Here in cebu city, the hospital who caters the iv therapy training is vicente sotto memorial medical center. they just had their training last aug22-24, 2007. the next training will be next year, to be specific early next year. Good luck!

by the way, please be careful in enrolling for iv therapy training, it has to be certified by ANSAP.

I'm just wondering.... why is it that some hospitals require a IV therapy training and BLS when applying? Is is because they dont want to spend on training nurses to have this license?

If you are not working in a hopital in the Philippines, then these classes will not help you at all. The BLS offered in PI is not accepted in other countries, nor is the IV certification. If you do not use the skills that you have learned in the IV course, then you will become rusty.

You know that saying : If you do not use it, you lose it.

Save your money.
