Dont take NLE. If you browsed the forums here, you'll know by now that you don't need a local license to take NCLEX-RN. Since you are already an immigrant, I think you don't need to take the english exam too. Check with your BON. Just don't take NLE if you dont want to practice in the Phil.

You are very lucky!!!
Don't take the local board anymore. Take the NCLEX-RN instead.
However, there are some schools that does not release the requirements needed for you to take NCLEX-RN unless you passed the local board exam. So consult your student manual or talk to the admin of your school.
Since you took your BSN in the Phils, it is required for you to take the english proficiency test.

Good for you! If I were you? you don't need to take the local board, go straight to NCLEX-RN. As soon as you graduate, apply for nclexrn na. get outta there as soon you can. depending on which State you will be migrating, you might want to check with their respective board of nursing if what is their requirement in order for them to let you take nclexrn. But, there are some states who dont require nle. such as california, new mexico, and vermont. pls. feel free to PM me when you have more questions. Congrats!

My wife is in the same boat. Don't even think about taking the local boards there. It would just complicate things if things go crazy as what happened lately with the NLE. There are a number of states that don't require the CGFNS exam (hence no Phil licensure requirement). You only need to take NCLEX. If you are an immigrant, a few states would require some English test. Just inquire with each nursing board the specific requirements.

Pls. go to :www.ncsbn.org for the web address of the board of nursing for specific State you are interested to apply for nclexrn. it is important to read it carefully. each state have specific requirements before you take the nclexrn.goodluck. don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any:-)

She's going to take NCLEX but she will need some intensive review (you can use Suzanne's strategies for the review). If you are in Manila, the nearest location for the exam is Hong Kong. If you are already an immigrant, why don't you just take it in the mainland and avoid the extra fee?
Florida I think don't require CGFNS exam but they require CES (credential evaluation). Just make sure you have enough clinical hours and transcripts of records (the Florida BON can give you the details and exact requirements for each subject).
