I need to attend a BLS-CPR training

by yoo jin

hello fellow nurses!

I just want to scout if any of you guys know any agency that offer BLS and CPR course.
Red cross, yup I know that. But are there any other? How much? When will it be? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and if youre looking for a job, please check out my post on "It's so hard to find a job" thread. This might be your luck!

Just take the time to do a search here on this site, much has already been posted about companies that are offering the courses in your area.

lung center offers a BLS CPR course, but it costs P3,000 as compared to the BLS/CPR and SFA training given at the philippine national red cross which is only P1,100.

If you wish to take the program for your work in your country, then take it there. Otherwise you need to be aware that the programs offered there are not going to be valid in other countries.

Also in the US, the ACLS programs thru the Red Cross are no longer acceptd by the majority of the hospitals, they are all requiring programs that are done thru the American Heart Association.

The Philippine Heart Center in QC offers Basic Life Support trainings through CCNAPI. THey have a list of their seminars and trainings in their website. That's where I got my info. Hope this helps.

Hey guys thanks for all the help. I just finished training at Red Cross Manila Chapter. Sadly they also have a 3 week backlog on releasing of certificates for First aid and CPR-BLS (Just like the EB3 visas!)

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THE WORLD?!!
