to all nclex passers: how much did you spend taking nclex in HK? (pearson vue/ travel agency/ miscellaneous) thanxs!

P150 - 175 thou. there were 3 of us. 5 days inclusive of ocean park and disney, with shopping, fares for the duration of stay, food. etc. homestay near exam site.
but, i think P25 thousand - P30 thousand is enough for a 3 days stay.
try buda travels near edsa and quezon avenue.

no shopping, no disney and other extras. 30 thou is quite sufficient for 2 - 3 days.

but be safe - 50 thousand for 3 days perhaps because you may be lured to go shopping. better ask a travel agent just to be sure. i don't know if rates have gone up.

anyone heard of anne black guest house? its in Man FUk kowloon (near mongkok station) any feedback from the service,room etc. -its pretty cheap next to cosco. how do we get to disney from mongkok mtr -any idea? thanks

Its much cheaper if you handle everything from flight to your hotel.

Though based on my experience, you can get a good deal from online reservation sites like hoteltravel.com or Asiarooms.com if you transact with them at least 2-3 mo. in advance, but it depends on the season.

I ended up with Central Park Hotel and flights via Cebu Pacific.

The key is to book as early to get the lowest rates.

Yikes,,,that's too much hehe

Been to HK lately so there's no need for shopping, disney, ocean park or restaurants when i take nclex and oh, they have such nice "carinderias" there too. you should check it out!
