Hospitals Open for Hiring

Hi everyone, do you know any hospitals in Manila which are accepting applicants right now? I don't have IVT or BLS training yet...but i wonder if it's required to some hospitals to have that before applying to them? I tried Phil Heart Center and St Lukes, and I'm still waiting...any other hospitals hiring? thanks!

bls training is cheap in red cross chapters. Try calling the chapter near you. I have had my training at redcross last july. it was fun! bls for two days cost 600 php and with first aid costs1600 depending on the chapter nearest you. I hope it helps!

if you took the BLS course only, the certificate lasts for a year and you have to renew it again the following year. But if you took the BLS and First Aid course you may renew it after 2yrs. With the renewal of BLS, as far as I know, you do have to take the course again with Red Cross.

I hope I answered your questions.

I'll just correct what hamish said. The validity of the Basic Life Support Training in Red Cross is only for 1 year regardless of taking the First Aid Training. The 2 trainings are of separate validities. BLS is valid for 1 year. As for First Aid, it expires after 2 years.
