Don't fret my dear colleagues.. I have few friends who just graduated dated 2 years from now and they are still unemployed...lucky I am though.... coz I landed a job here in Philipine Air Force after I passed the local board 6 months after. I've heard that Philippine Air Force under DOLE Program E.O Job Order will hire again next year and will be deployed to different airbase hospitals all over Philippines like Clark, Basa in Pampanga, Sangley ,Cavite, Lipa City, Mactan , Cebu City which I 'am deployed right now and in Zamboaga City.. I was just informed by the hiring process here i allnurses.com.. just be informed always and please keep the faith and God will surely hear your prayers.. GodBless to all!!!

Hi NarsCathy! Are there age restrictions on PAF Hospitals? I'm Nov. '08 passer and still no work! It is so discouraging (for me at least) that I need to have a backer to get hired or need to lower myself and work for free. I just can't reconcile the fact that I worked for 4 years and be forced (by circumstance) to work for free, that's all. Sadly, I am getting desperate as time is passing me by and still no work. I guess I have to volunteer now before the year ends...problem now is, what hospital shall I volunteer? LOL!

hello salingcatcat..nice to know that we both passed the NLE..I'm also a NOv.08 passer..it's just that I landed a job in PAF. There are no restrictions in PAF.. as long as you're a fresh graduate and a displaced worker from abroad. You will be interviewed by panel of interviewers but believe me the interview will not last for 10 minutes. Don't worry my dear colleagues..I'll inform you once there will be a hiring again. Keep the faith and pray always.

I graduated last year and passed the board in nov 08,
Right now im working in a primary hospital here in taguig.
Im going 6months this december. The training here is good
because we also conduct ER, DR, OPD and ward cases.
Its like learning the basic functions of a nurse.
Not to mention, I also have a salary.

Its not really bad because while i earn, i also learn.
The institution is currently accepting resumes
for staff position. Its best if your just around
Taguig, Muntinlupa or Paranaque Area coz its nearer.
