where are you located? San Juan Medical Center in San Juan is accepting volunteer nurses. Good thing is that they do not charge fees. If they do, it is very minimal - expense for the certificate lang. I think you just need to pass their qualifying exams and really need to be serious in your duty like being on time, few or no absences, industrious, and so on. They are very hands on and the administration and staff nurses are very accommodating. However, the hospital is not open for hiring. you might want to call them and inquire.

There is a hospital here in Angeles, Pampanga that will be opening this year (I think June). It's a teriary hospital. Try to consider it.

Some of my fellow nurses here came all the way from Olangapo and Baguio.

There is also a hospital I know that is currently being constructed in Olangapo. It's also a tertiary hospital but I don't have any idea when will it be operating.

Most countries ask for actual nurse experience and do not accept volunteer work. EU will be hard at the moment to get a work visa so not sure which EU country you are looking for. With retrogression the US will more than likely expect to see some work experience whilst waiting. Canada could be done with no work experience however with current climate many employers will more than likely expect to see work experience. Plus some provinces are holding back on accepting IEN due to employment climate

I think the one in Angeles is currently hiring. The hospital's name is Sacred Heart Medical Center, i think.

You should have exceptional credentials to get hired, or the other route, you should know someone, powerful enough - you know what i mean.

The other hospital in Olongapo is our sister hospital. Gossips roaming says that it will operate this October but I don't know if thats true. I haven't see the current status of the hospital yet.

Here's their ancient website:
http://www.themountcarmelgroup.com/m...nter/index.htm
I hope they could update the site.

pofi... what if I don't have any backer? can I still apply? I know it's too risky but I'll take the chance... so have you tried to apply in those hospitals you've mention above? Than you very much for your immediate response.. I hope that you'll help many unemployed nurses like me.. May God Bless you.
