Re: hi anyone review in rachel allen or URC?
This is true. A number of my friends who spent so much money (in cash, at that..since a very expensive and internationally well-known review center just accepts cash) and effort (it's very tiring commuting back and forth to the center) didn't fare well in the exam. They put so much trust in being able to finish qxs from the CDs and applying their kind of "strategies" and getting high scores from it (with very limited rationales given) but just scanned over their texts and comprehensive books. Before I passed the NCLEX, I used to feel so insecure

compared to these friends who always seemed to have a lot of review materials, while all I'm holding unto is my Saunders compre bk

. When the exam came, most of their review materials were untouched, while my 1 and only book was torn by chapters full of sidenotes and very much disfigured. I went over and over the topics I can't understand, research from the textbooks about it, even pouring over my medical books. Of course, none of the qxs they practiced on were repeated in the exam. NCLEX will twist the qxs/topics anyway they want, and if you have read and understood how the body systems work and operate when something is lacking or broken, you'll be able to relate to these qxs. Just something for you to consider ....
