This has already been posted in another thread. Although you need a minimum of seven it doesn't have to be in one sitting but does have to be done within 12 months.

Good news for IELTS takers but NZ is bad news for "2nd coursers/shiftees" since the NCNZ now requires applicants to be a graduate of a 4 year purely BSN degree.

In general no exam is require, English exam is required and the board of nursing will make their own assessment on your training and transcripts plus any experience you have and will decide if you need to complete any type of bridging program

I think your writing will let you down. My understanding is minimum of 7 in all bands and you have a 6

yes those 3 7 are valid, but you still have to repeat the writing but at this point you only have to focus more on wrting since NZ does not require you to get 7 in single setting. goodluck

you can not use that IELTS exam since you have a score of 6.0 in writing ... Based on the new rule of NCNZ IF you take a second IELTS before MARCH 10, 2008 and you got a 7.0 in writing (irregardless of the score for other areas) then you can use both exams for the IELTS requirement.(both exam should be taken in a span of 12 months)

only thing to do now is to retake the IELTS and aim for band 7.0 in all areas. goodluck
