is there anyone here who recently tried to apply online with this institution/agency for a Nurse/caregiver position? my friend who applied recently received this email from them. i just wanted to make sure this is not SCAM or whatsoever.

Please do a search as this has been asked before. I did a google search and couldn't find any reference to the hospital. Also there is no mention of the NMC and you need to complete and meet their requirements before being able to work as a nurse in the UK. it is also hard currently if not from the UK or EU to get a work permit especially when unemployment is at it's highest in many years with many UK residents out of work.

sounds fishy, double naming for the position, either you are a caregiver, then you wouldn't be working in a hospital or you are a staff nurse, but then you need to be registered, strict timing for phonecalls.....paying upfront, they can promise a lot, when the money is gone, it's gone, then it all sounds too good to be true I find.
Please investigate

I received an email from this company yesterday (Monday 10/12/2009) and i would like to know if this company is legit, I tried to call them but the customer service representative who answered it didn't say his name and was in a hurry while I'm asking for their POEA license #--he just answered back that they are under SEC. i also recieved that same email today.i'm searching for the name of the hospital in the internet, but have not found any.i think it's a fraud because trainings like that can be paid during the training day itself, just show them the e mail that they sent you...nurses out there who recieved the same e mail should investigate first before attending the said training.i hope somebody would give a feedback regarding this ad.

I CALLED PBCOM TOWER TO VERIFY IF THEY HAVE THIS COMPANY ON THEIR 19TH FLR... THE OPERATOR SAID THAT THIS IS A SCAM!!! SHE ALSO KNOW THE 3000 PESOS THAT THE COMPANY IS ASKING FROM ITS VICTIM.. SHE SAID THAT WE SHOULD NOT BELIEVE... AGAIN THIS IS A SCAM.. I ALMOST BECOME A VICTIM TSK

just found out that there have been many complaints about this scam already. try looking for the website of IMBESTIGADOR and you will a lot of complaints. it was mentioned that they change their company and the contact persons' name form time to time. their M.O. is they kept on moving the date of the training when you try to call them after paying. I think it won't be that hard to trace them. they're using the same landline number, and there's an actual person who answers when you call. what "exactly" can we do? what are the steps that we should follow?

one sure thing that we can do now is to spread this information to our fellow nurses.
