Filipino nurse in London nursing home?

hello! just wanted to know if the bridging program or NVQ level assessment programs are guaranteed as further education and when entering London nursing home under the student visa, can it easily be adjusted to working visa after the required time of the bridging program? And will you find nursing employment in bigger hospitals when you get to have your working visa? just askin...thnx!

There is no way that you will be able to adjust the visa to be able to remain in the UK and actually work as an RN when you complete whatever program that you are going there to complete.

You will be going with the BSN already in hand, so any of these programs are not going to be beneficial to you getting a job later on someplace. And actually can do your more harm as you will not be there in the role of the ?RN and you will not get any credit for what you will be doing there as an unlicensed personnel.

You will not be getting a working visa either, you are going there under a student visa. The UK is actually under a hiring freeze, you will not be able to get licensed there nor get a visa that will permit you to remain there and work as an RN.

Do hope that you will take the time to do some reading here about what is actually going on with those programs. The only ones that are benefitting are the owners of the schools and the recruiters. You are going to be living at what is called poverty level by the government there, nothing more than that will be paid to you.

The NVQ is certificate level for the care programs and as Suzanne has already said you will be working as an unqualified worker. You will not be allowed to work as a qualified nurse and there will be no way to convert your student visa to a working visa.

THere is no hospital that will employ you as a foreign national as you are not a UK or European citizen therefore not entitled to work or gain a work permit in the UK. As a healthcare manager and NHS recruiter I can tell you that I would not even consider your application for shortlist as I would not be allowed to interview you because of immigration laws.
