hello!just wanna ask are you already employed at st. lukes?where do you pass youre requirements?
some says that the resumes can be passed at the 5th flr annex2 and at the hr building at the PET scan area...tnx!

hello everyone. is this still the same requirements mentioned in the previous threads that needs to be passed?

resume, photocopy of PRC license, board rating, board rating certificate, class ranking, GWA, TOR, diploma, and 2 pcs. 2x2 pics (white background)..

a little clarification. is this for the staff nurse requirement? if so, must we submit this in an envelope sealed with all hopes that we'll be considered?

I'm done with step 3, waiting for my medical exam next week. I may possibly belong to the 3rd batch of NSET trainees, which will start within this month. The screening process has been swift since September, the 2nd batch started last October 21. I took the skills validation last week and had my final interview the week after.

You may submit your applications at the 5th floor annex 2 pigeon box HRD, during the time I submitted mine, that was late July, applications were dropped off at the department of clinical advancement. I have this feeling that they really are in need of new nurses since their some of their experienced staff and trainees were already transferred to Global City.

How long is the NSET Training? Do you have to pay for it?

I just finished with the Skills Validation / Panel Interview yesterday. Apparently, 20 more slots are needed for the NSET Batch that will start this month or next month. 11 of us passed yesterday, and we were told to wait for the schedule of our final interview that might be held next week or the week after that. Any ideas if there will still be a huge "mortality rate" after the final interview?

You're right, the screening process has been very swift. So many things happened this week--I got a text on Wednesday saying that I'll be taking the Initial set of exams the next day (Thursday), and out of 25 who took the IQ test, 3/4 went on to the next 'round'. After that, only 10 or 11 passed the Clinical Exam. We were then told to return the next day for the Skills Validation (Friday). So yesterday, 17 were supposed to come but only 15 were in attendance. 11 made it through.

We're all hoping that our final interviews will be a success, too. It has been a very nerve-wracking week. But the sense of relief that washes over you after you find out that you passed is worth it I hope all goes well with your medical exams too, and congratulations!

Hi burbeestar and invisible! Do you guys have any idea if they only accept applicants with board rating of 80% and above? Coz ive already submitted my application last September, and i still dont have any updates yet.. Im thinking maybe because i have lower board rating that's why they didnt consider my application.. What do you think? Please enlighten my mind.. Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure about their screening process but I guess all I can say is that you have to be patient for now. I, and the people I have talked to when we took our IQ and Clinical tests submitted our resumes (etc.) last May and June. So that took almost 5-6 months before we were texted to report for the exams.

It was mentioned by the HR personnel however that they have chosen us from thousands of applications submitted; However, I do not know what the criteria for selection is. Just keep on applying in other hospitals for the meantime and keep checking your phone for any messages. Don't lose hope! I almost gave up hope on SLMC but their SMS came when I least expected it.

-board rating of at least 80
-gwa of 2.0 or its equivalent
-class ranking
-TOR
- 2 2x2 pix
-nbi clearance
-birth certificate

-- place all of these in a clear long envelope and drop it inside the pigeon hole found at the 5th floor Annex II SLMC-QC
