embassy interview, inquiry, job offer-HELP

by abi17

I am scheduled to have an interview at the embassy on June26. Up to now im still waiting for their job offer. I called up my employer reagrding this matter. Can i still attend my appoinment interview without the job offer with me? I am afraid that i will not receive my job offer before my interview date? Will i be denied of a visa if i dont bring with me the job offer letter? Can i just have the interview, and submit at a later date the job offer letter? Please help.. thanx

Hi,

It is highly recommended that you appear for your interview. Not having an updated job offer in hand will not be a big problem. I have a friend who was interviewed today with exactly the same situation. Her job offer has not arrived yet. She was interviewed like everyone else, and at the end, they just asked her to submit her job offer when it arrives. You can do so by mail, or you can go to the embassy anytime Mon-Thurs, at 1pm, to drop off lacking documents. Don't worry, you will not be denied. When everything's complete, they will review your file again before printing the visa.
