Dont lose hope! My sister took her board 3 times. That was still the time when you failed the NLE 3x, you have to take a remedial. SHe never gave uP!

SHe might did her best, studied and prayed for it.... There's a reason for everything! You can't predict the board exam. Sometimes it seems easy but the fact, it really hard...

My neighbor failed NLE twice now... I can see he studied hard, his mother was really devoted and he had faith....

WAs her shading right? It must be not that light. Should touched the back of the questionnaire before passing it to the proctor. There are lots of factors that can fail someone.

TELL HER NOT TO GIVE UP!

I'm sorry to hear that. What I can suggest is, tell her to give herself a break say a week or two and then tell her to continue what she was doing, reviewing, praying. Tell her not to give up.

I suggest that she should take a break at least twice a week so that her mind and body would be relaxed and the shading too of the answer sheet may be the problem, she might overlooked the shading.... don't loose hope, she could do it!

You are not completely correct on this. True, CA does not require the NLE be taken. However, if you did take it, it needs to be on the application and then they would expect to see proof that you passed that exam. And if you did not pass it, then there is where your problem is. Why would a state want to issue a license to someone that was unable to pass the local license where they are from? If you were on the other side, what would you be doing? You would expect them to pass their local license first, that is if they wrote it.

You still need to list on that application that you wrote the exam, and they have a list of all that have passed it. The PRC actually posts it and can be easily obtained by all BONs and it is.

This may be why you have not had any response to your application to them that you posted about on the other forum here. We have learned from experience here, that when there are delays, it means that there is an issue with the application. And this could be it exactly.

Anytime that you have changes made to your application, especially concerning an exam, then you need to write to them about it. But even more importantly, did you knew that you would be writing that exam before you submitted to the BRN in the first place. Am I not correct on this?

The NLE has a cut-off date to submit your documents to them. And the PRC publishes all types of lists with everyone's name on it. When reviewing your application, they check these lists. And that is why we have been hearing that they are actually going to start to require the NLE once again,, as when it was required for all that had to take the CGFNS exam in order to work in the US.

And you also need to inform them that you took the exam and did not pass it, withholding that information can cause you issues later on.
