I suggest you guys get the official "CRNE Prep Guide" by the Canadian Nurses Association... You can check thier website at www.cna-aiic.ca
Its a bit expensive but its worth it...

Does anyone know the book"Mosby's Prep Guide for the Canadian RN Exam".Is it helpful for the exam?

Try to contact lenjoy about the CRNE. She is negotiating with Elsevier about distribution of the book in the Philippines. But she needs to have a number of bookings for this to push through. try using the search option as she posted a thread on this.

I texted the sales manager of the elsevier last week. He told me that I should contact c and e for they have the title regarding this matter. I called up the main office and I was informed the book is still not here. MAybe on the first week of March..... BUT............ They only have one copy. She said that the concern people still need to review the book if its marketable or not! Then they will reprint it as paperback. I think they already have contract with the elsevier in US regarding the reprinting making it cheaper to buy. I was really shocked because the negotiation I had with elsevier was not followed! I thought they'll send us 10 original copies from US and that is what we're going to buy... If this is approved, I think the book will be available in all C and E bookstore nationwide!

Ok... here I go! Bad news for everyone and still good news for those not in a hurry.

Just called up C and E. I talked with the same personnel. Ms. M. I was just checking the status of the book if its already available. She said that the 1 copy they've asked for was not included on the shipment that arrived, contradicting to what she told me almost 2 weeks ago.

I told her that whatever is happening now, is not the transaction I had with elsevier because we were expecting 10 copies by march. She said that Ms. S adviced them to get only one copy, etc. Now, they're telling me that the book (the 1 copy) is not yet shipped and that they've just ordered it! ANd if someone is in a hurry to get a copy, they might just order it and use the faster way to get it here with which is more expensive!

And if ever one day that the 1 copy arrives, they still need to scan the content if its marketable or not and reprint it.

I really hate it when the transaction is not followed!!!

Follow up....

Just called C and E again because someone told me that the book is already here and it is being process for market. I dont know if I'm just being fooled by that person or his telling the truth so I confirm it to the main branch and Ms. M was very surprised where that news came from! hmp! His not a good source! Anyway.....

The manager of C and E called and will do an indent order. They'll fax me the info maybe after an hour or tomorrow because I still have a duty. This would be a bit expensive. Maybe <P4000. I dont know the exact amount yet but if your in a hurry to get a copy, please send me a PM after 24 hours. I'm from 6-6am today so I'll just check my account before I sleep tomorrow and fax the names to C and E. I already asked for 5 copies. Since only 5 are very sure. IF you want to add, just send me a PM.

hi lenjoy03, I am also interested in purchasing a CRNE prep guide.
Did you find success in bringing it to the philippine market already? I was asking this because the last post was a few months ago. Please give me an update regarding your efforts in bringing this book here in the philippines. Thanks in advance!
