hi i would like to ask question regarding what is the process of hiring an applicant at the said hospital? my friend took his qualifying exam there days ago. he said the HR will contact the successful applicant who belong to the top rank and be schedule for an interview by the nursing service. my question is how long will it take them and the procedure that will follow after it?

Hi,

Most likely your friend applied last year. By the way, the process at Chong Hua is still the same with the other hospital. But as of now according to one of the insiders in ChongHua they have currently almost 5000 pending applicants,I think would be an advantage if you are a Chinese:-) Good luck anyway...

oh i see, I hope my friend will be hired by that hospital. how come there are 5000 pending applicants and during his qualifying exam there days ago, their were only about 15 examinee who took it?

I guess bearing a Chinese name will do nothing unless you have connection inside the HR office or any backer as what you call it.

hmmp i dunno know how did the insider come up with 5000 pending...more likely its their backlog..totally no idea.that information was just shared to me by friend who was interested in applying there.


Yeah your right...Backer and connection nowadays is very important for an aspiring Nurse Applicant hehehe

guys, how long does it usually take for this institution to contact you maybe for an exam/ initial interview?

I've passed my application just yesterday. fortunately we have some contacts inside so ho long do you think would it take for them to call me? I'm really eager to start working as a nurse.

also, anyone who had applied here? what steps are involve?. Any response would greatly be appreciated.
