hey guys! heard of the POEA memo regarding Filipino direct hires? The philippine govt has implemented a required bond of $5000+3 months salary to employers wishing to hire Filipinos (including nurses) directly...does this mean I cant apply anymore in canada? coz no hospital wil be crazy enough to hire any filipinos now with that amount danggling over our heads..what do you think? is there anyway around this? can I still write the CRNE?

the repatriation bond is not $5000+3 months salary but $5000 OR an amount equivalent to 3 months salary...and this bond can be had in the Philippines or overseas at a yearly premium of $35 with medical insurance...or at $55 for the $15,000 coverage + accident insurance...but the additional required paper work is still there
