We have this debate regarding abolishment of nursing schools in the Philippines and I'm for the anti side. someone help me.????????????????

Yes, this was discussed a few weeks ago.

Basically, the issue comes down to quality vs. quantity.

If you take the PRO abolishment position, your focus is on quality - that since these schools aren't quality schools, they SHOULD be abolished.

But, since you have to take the ANTI abolishment position, your focus should be on quantity - that they produce the number of nurses necessary, even if quality is at issue.

Your argument should have 2 main themes: 1. there has to be more nurses and these programs provide them, and 2. experience on the job makes up for any perceived quality issues of the programs.

Basically, this is a debate about quality vs. quantity and you have been chosen to argue the quantity side. So, don't get bogged down in a discussion of quality - that is the other argument. Stick to the issue of quantity.
