@maeriz- where are you from mae?if your from davao i would recommend nurse care review center if your not from davao!haha..just disregard this post!..they offer BLS,ECG and Pharma and ACLS trainings and they are the only accredited training site in Mindanano that is certified by the American Heart Association. although in reality not all of the topics discussed in the trainings can be applied in the current Philippine Hospital setting but in a good way you will really learn alot and add up for your credentials. When you complete your training they will give you your BLS and ACLS card which is from AHA and my secured no. tlga and all..they will also send the results of your exams during training and register you sa US with AHA.that way pag nagexpire yung card mo pde mo na dun i renew kung andun kana..nywei, the validity of the card is 2years. i just finished my ACLS training mahirap pero worth it! and naktulong tlga sa pagapply ko sa hospital!

@mae-yah thats the downside of it..the trainings they offer are a bit expensive but i think its reasonable because they will give you the necessary materials also used by AHA during their trainings such as textbooks and CD's which will really help you alot during the course of your training. In my own opinion, i find it very informative and useful because they will really train you base standard AHA and the environment is really conducive for learning and class 3-4 We learn so, then after the training you will have tests..and your only allowed 3-4 mistakes to pass.although this would really help you states but i guess this will also come in handy when you apply to other countries such as UK,australia etc.

Anyway, its one's choice ..if you really want this training or not.some consider it as a waste of time and money i have a different opinion i think having these credentials in my bag will give me an edge very tough competition when you apply to hospitals for experience.Oh well, to each his own eh..hope i was able to help somehow.there's always Redcross ..i just dont know if they offer the ACLS..you could always inquire eh..hehe...All the best mae!

like killjoyako,i also recomend phil heart center..it's only one day application..free foods but don't expect of fastfoods will be served, anyway you're there just for the training itself..just go there as early as you can, last may i went there at 6am,and i'm the 32nd from the list posted at the door..but the trainings really worth the money you gave to them.. =)
