    Hi,
    I'm new to this site and was just wondering if anyone knew the required (I'm not even positive they are) minimum score for entrance to the Shadyside Nursing School in Pittsburgh?

    I've made repeated attempts to contact them, however they haven't returned my calls yet. I can't find any information on their site.

    I'm taking the SATs this Saturday and am very nervous. I'm graduating at the end of May, and this was the only chance to take the SATs this year for me.

    Also, does anyone have a rough figure of the average SAT score for entrance to a nursing program?

    Hi there! Your SAT scores will not be required for entrance to SSON. You will instead be required to take an entrance exam at the school, called the PSB-RN. I think they have finished testing for August enrollment, so you may have to wait until the fall and test for next January. Hope that helps! I'm not sure about SAT scores for other schools, I would think that 4 year bachelor's programs are more likely to require them than 2-year diploma or associate's programs.
