Well, I am 99% certain I'll be attending~ I was accepted and I submited the non-refundable deposit. I'm on Thomas Jefferson's waiting list, but only for it's 2 yr. program. I am ineligible for it's 1 yr. program b/c it begins in May, and I still haven't taken Chem II, which is required for all of Jeff's programs. It's 2 yr. program begins in Sept., so if I got in and wished to go, I would be able to take Chem. II in the summer. My question to you is: Did you also have interest in Jefferson, and do you know how Drexel and Jefferson's 2nd degree programs compare? I am still probably going to go to Drexel either way, b/c I really want to get this degree done asap, and I also heard it's a strong program. Thanks for your input, and congratulations!!!
- Apr 9, '06 by Britt.MSN2b.Drexel'11Yes! Congrats on that. I amd 17 yrs. old and will be starting in the Drexel Nursing program this fall. I am currently registered for the BSN program w/ Co-Op, but as long as i get a 3.25 my first year, I will be eligable to participate in the BSN/MSN Dual Degree w/ Co-Op. Live in MD, and I'm going to Philly tommorrow to visit the campus. Good luck in the future, and congratulations again!

Can you give us another one. - Apr 11, '06 by ldmerkelHi future ACE-ers!
Too bad I couldnt get to you sooner to try to talk you out of it!
<haha>
I am currently in my 3rd quarter, if you have any q's so far, I'll try to answer them. Just know that it is likely to be the hardest thing you will ever attempt to complete. We have lost 1/3 of our class from orientation day til the first day of this quarter. There is no sympathy in the ACE program, that's for sure! HA! I feel obligated to warn future students bc I was not warned, and I wish I had been.. I would have considered other programs. On the positive side, time sure does fly by!
Congrats to all of you who are coming in!
- Apr 12, '06 by TreeHawkHi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I also applied to the ACE program for Spring 07 admission. I just found out about the program from my hubby, and just got my app in before the 4/15 deadline. Talk about whirlwind! I received my BA in psych in 2001. I'm registered at a county college to do my science prereqs since I'm missing a few. I hope I'm accepted into ACE...I registered for the classes I need at county and paid $ to adjust my airline tickets for a trip I had planned so I could take A&P 1 the end of this summer and take A&P 2 for the fall, along with Micro, nutrition, and ethics.
I'm going to an info session next Wed, but does anyone know if there's a waitlist for this program? I really hope not...there wasn't any indication on their site. When I called they seemed to make it sound that most people with BA's get accepted as long as they had a 2.75 GPA and the prereqs before matriculation.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time...it's been a while since I was in school but I think now that I'm a bit older I have the focus needed for this program. It seems very intense!
Also does anyone know if Drexel accepts psych stats 1 and 2 as the prereq for stats? Thanks! - Apr 14, '06 by jls485Quote from ldmerkelHi Idmerkel, I'm actually starting the ace program in the coming fall. It sounded like you didn't like the program? I know it's going to be tough because you're jamming 80 some credits in 11 months. Do you think it's the time issue? Like do you have enough time to even study? If you could do it again, would you still go for the ACE program? If not, what other progrms you recommand?Hi future ACE-ers!
