The last page has the nursing course +clinical schedules for each section for each semester for the entire program!I hate that they give you no insight on what to expect as far as scheduling since I do work full time.
- Oct 23, '12 by jessika12goldI definitely have. Maybe mine is different? Like i said, I applied for the accelerated LPN-RN. It opts out the 1st year of the program. I go through (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST INDIVIDUAL NAMES PER TOS). I'm thinking the reason they don't specify is because they're not sure themselves. Has anyone else gone through the program this way?Last edit by sirI on Oct 23, '12
- Oct 23, '12 by 4boysmamaIf you're accepted through the LPN advanced option, you come in as a 2nd year student in the fall. So, you follow the Nur 210 and 211 schedules. There's no separate courses; you just get to skip the first year (110 and 111). So, fall (day) schedule is class mon + wed (10-12 if you're sect 1 or 2, 1:30-3:30 for 3) and clinical (7 hours) thur + fri. I think evening section is tue+wed 6-8 and sat+sun clinicals. Spring is same schedule, except the wed classes are every other week instead of weekly.jessika12gold likes this.

- Oct 30, '12 by HTBANI've applied for a seat in the 2013 class at DCCC. Since I started the process late in the priority phase, I had 1 opportunity to take the TEAS and didn't do my best but well enough.
Hopefully I'll secure a seat. I understand that there were around 130 applicants this year. If two or more people receive the same score, are they both ranked by the TEAS the same and then DCCC will weed out who falls where through sub scores?
- Nov 2, '12 by jessika12goldyikes! That's a lot of disappointed people. 130 for the regular rn program? or for the advanced lpn-rn? I asked the same question regarding the TEAs since my scores were average and my GPA is a 3.75 A's in all my sciences. I was told they "go about it accordingly". I assume that meant they'd take certain things into comparison. You would think GPA would be the first thing, but I do know they look to see how many prereqs you've finished.
- Nov 11, '12 by HTBANQuote from jessika12goldI don't know what the true count for applicants is for 2013; and don't know how that number breaks down into programs. For Chester County there is only 64 seats available. I really don't have a clue, I just want to know if I got in. The waiting is awful!yikes! - Nov 12, '12 by BijoutlpnHello, we are in the same exact position. The only difference is that I have not yet taken the TEAS but I do plan on taking it after the semester is over. Im currently taking AP2 which is my last Pre-Req. The deadline for everything is April correct? TEAS & testing out of Math for Nurses? Taking Transition would be after being accepted into the program correct?
- Nov 15, '12 by jessika12goldApril is when we (LPNS) find out if we made it into the program. The transition or bridge course starts in May if your accepted. Then we finish out the program with the rest starting in September. As far as the TEAS... I think you have to have them done by October or March. If you wait until April they'd have nothing to go on for you to be accepted.
- Nov 15, '12 by jessika12goldSomeone in my micro class told me people are droping out of the day program like crazy. Her besty is in the day program so I was sort of happy to hear it!
