  1. What is math 35? I didn't even pay it any attention and just noticed it.
  2. Its called Mathematicial Ideas. The dumbest class ever with the cutest teacher

  3. Yay! 34 credits transfered not including chemistry. Kinda funny but I didn't expect my Public Speaking class to get accepted as CAS 100 and Photography as an Arts Elective. I'm relieved they accepted my anatomy, physio and micro.. phew!

I was hoping they would accept my English 1B (equivalent to English 202B Writing in Humanities) as English 202A Writing in Social Sciences. I mean come on---isn't it close enough? Aria also didn't accept my nutrition class. I read on one Aria blog about you might get them to accept it if you can prove your nutrition class was taught by a Registered Dietitian. Is this true? Because I think I need one more class transfered to knock off 2 trimesters!

Also does anyone think that History of Western Civilization would count as a humanity elective?

  4. That is so weird that with such a close equivalent course they wouldnt accept your Eng 1B. I wish I could have taken nutrition but the class was being taught by a chiropractor. I was suprised that precalc and algebra didn't knock out math 35.

@Bumblebee thanks for the response. Is math 35 very study intensive? Also since you skipped two rotations do you have a break before graduation and graduate with the class you entered with or do you graduate with the class that came in right before you?

Yea the dietitian part was true. I heard of students bringing in old syllabus's or whatever to prove their teacher was a dietician, and then the class was accepted.
I think the Western Civ SHOULD count as a humanity. Because i took WORLD CIV and they took it as a humanity....but i dont know what their criteria is.

To everyone and their classes. Dont go crazy about it. You've got plenty of time to figure all this out IN PERSON once you start. So dont drive Julie crazy with emails

NOT AT ALL. Its the stupidest easiest class ever. Its kind of like, word problems, and shapes and learning dumb formulas that youll never ever use again. And its taught by this older man (grandpa) that is sooo nice and sweet. Its CAKE.
I came in with about 50 students. Half of us DID NOT take rotations, and half of us DID...most people only take ONE rotation unless they came out of high school or something...
SO I am still with my original group. Its almost been 2 years. SO crazy.... :spin:
  7. Thats a bummer you couldn't take Nutrition early. Weren't there any other instructors to choose from that were registered dietitians? I hope my teacher still works at the college so she can get the information I need from her

Bumblebee thanks for filling us in on the classes. I'll make sure to not sweat the class stuff until orientation. I've run to a few problems already and Julia has had to help me figure things out.

  8. Im not sure if I answered your question right. I think they only have one or two pinning ceremonies a year. So I will get pinned with the class of 2013 which will be MY group. Those that DIDNT take a rotation, and those one semester behind us that DID take a rotation. So-o our capstone will be from DEC-FEB but I dont think we get pinned until June....something like that. And by then then we will be RN's

I think Bumblebee will be graduating early with the class before him. That is my goal too.
