    Thanks, that's very helpful. I'm reading the first few chapters to get a foundation, then will review the ones I know will be important. If I have time, I'll review more. I know it will be short and intense, and it's the foundation for nursing so I might as well start now. I'm glad I'm doing this as a second career because I never would have had this motivation right out of high school.

    Yes, I hope we both get good teachers. I chose my class based on the schedule, but I love ratemyprofessor.com!

    Apparently when I placed my order may 10th it didn't process . Here I'm waiting for my things and wondering why haven't the amount I paid been taking out of my account yet . So I called and even tho I have a receipt the order wasn't processed . So had to do the whole thing over agin lol . Let's hope they don't make any more mistakes !!! How's everyone medical advancements coming along ? Any road blocks ? Sadly I just got blood work done for my titers lol lets hope I have everything done by the 13th

    I actually was down at CCP yesterday dropping off my proof of health and liability insurance and my proof of cpr certification and I also had my drug screening so I figured why not do it all in one shot. While there I was supposed to fill out a pregnancy waver form because I am not allowed to get my vaccinations.. of course the lady who usually keeps that paperwork was not in the office and no one else knew where the forms were. The woman who was in charge yesterday tried doing a search in the computer system to find it and was unable to, she even called the woman at her home and on her cell and got no answer. So now they have to mail it to me and I have to take another trip down there to drop it off... thats if it actually gets mailed out. Between the lack of communication by the employees at CCP and the inability to process orders at Advanced Health Care Shop..i am just at a loss for words. I hope we actually have people who know what they are doing teaching us how to become nurses because I am really worried.

    Its normally the 15th but since the 15th is a sunday they want everything by the 13. However, the college is closed on fridays in the summer so really I guess we need to have everything the 12th lol.

    omg thats terrible! i really hope the nursing classes arent as disorganized as the rest of the schools seems to be.

    Well if it's closed on Friday they will get it that Monday and not a day earlier ... Plus their due dates are a joke we don't even start clinical till September. I'm going to ride this whole disorganization wave because it's pointless to be organized when they are just going to make u disorganized so might as well start off the way your going to end up . They aren't taking my paper work and hard work seriously so I will follow suite and not take them seriously . At the end of the day they can't blame me for being one way when they are worse . And if they did , well that's the pot calling the kettle black . I guess the old adage goes like this : you get what u pay for because I'm certain any other nursing school is not like this . Penn States nursing program def wasn't ..... Terrible absolutely terrible

    And what's interesting is I've been in ccp nursing forums from years back and there wasn't as nearly as many complaints as there is in this forum . And another thing , it really looks bad when ur being what did they call it ? Looked at for low nclex scores the year they wanna be extra disorganized . What kind of hope does that instill ???? Not trying to sound pessimistic but some things are worth mentioning . I know when everything is said and done in 2014 I will have my A.s.n and not a day later !!!!!!
