those applying for dccc fall 2013;i scored 68 percentile for my teas, and i was ranked 17,pls is there anyone that scored below that or equal to that and got accepted to dccc?

Hi everyone, I'm 4th on the waiting list for Chester County day class, Fall 2013. Spoke with the assistant program director via e-mail and asked her what chance I have of getting in from this position. She said that from her experience, anywhere from 1 to 7 people usually decline their seat for whatever reason. So, I'm going to stay positive and continue to work towards BSN if not accepted this year. Good luck to everyone and congratulations to all who have been accepted!

Hey I'm an LPN waiting to hear about my acceptance for 2013. LPNs don't find out until April 1st since we only complete the 2nd half of the program, and were not allowed to call for updates. Do you know if any people dropped/failed out? The amount of seats that open up depend on the number of LPNs who get in. Also, what was the average for the TEAs? I don't know how to look for the forums, so I really appreciate any feedback.

I got into the 2012 program, i was number 20 on the waitlist and scored a 67. Don't lose faith. Although I didnt get a response from anyone till around May.....the anxiety almost killed me. But again, don't lose faith girl.

I spoke with someone dealing w/ the LPN to RN admission program about a week ago. I was told tht candidates applying for Fall 2013 have scored btwn mid 60's to 70's and some 80's on the TEAS. So anyone below 60 would not be a candidate. If there was a tie, they would then go into the score on Science. She also said that very few applications were completed and the deadline is April 1st so we won't find out until after April 1st. Hope this helps! Good Luck!!

anyone have any opinions? I really need some advice. Should I get my RN then continue to get my BSN OR do LPN to BSN? Besides working as a RN while continuing to get my Bachelors, are there any other benefits to doing it the first way?

If I were to get my RN (go through the program, classes, clinicals, pass my boards)with an associates then continued to get my BSN would I have to go through another program? Or would I just take the necessary classes whether it be prereqs or nursing classes without the clinicals and boards?
