I am hoping too. I emailed Terry after my interview asking when I should expect to hear back either positive or negative. She said "two weeks (hopefully sooner) be patient!". I don't know what that means though.

Also, just email her or call. The worst answer you can get is "no" but sometimes I think its better to have a piece of mind.

Thanks, Brianna. I got an email inviting me for an interview on July the 30th!!!! I guess they will be interviewing till then. Although it's nerve racking, we are still there.

Good luck!!

Good Luck, I know they are hiring in two waves. Mid August and end of August so this makes sense!

I got the email today that I've been chosen for the New to Practice program. Still haven't found out which unit, but I'm just grateful and thankful to God that I received a position. Can't wait to start! Very excited. Anyone else?

Congrats to all of those who were hired! I'm very sad to just be learning about this program now. Does anyone know if the "New to Practice Program" has a fall cohort? Is it just a once a year thing? I'd appreciate any information since the Internet is void of any save for this site. Thanks!

Congratulations morningdew!!!!!! This is a big accomplishment.

I have my interview on the 30th, I guess because I completed my tests at the last minute!!

Anyway, I am preparing hard for this interview. I already pick my units, but most of them are terrific, so I do not care if I do not have the ones i selected. The most important for me now is to pass the interview.

According to what you said, we have only one interview and you just wait to be or not to be hired?? I thought we had two interviews, one was the panel and the second with the nurse manager. I guess that it's only one interview?

How many people is in the panel? Do you interview alone or with other applicants at the same time?

If you can share this info, i'll be more than happy!!!

Again, Congratulations!

One interview with a panel.

I had three two of which were nurse managers and the third for me was the director of the program. (Friends of mine had a different panel) You interview alone. When you come in to the HR office there are several applicants and they bring you back one at a time (I went to the 7th floor immediately but a friend of mine waited an hour-ish)

The questions while I don't remember specifics were not difficult. Straight forward. They did a wonderful job at keeping my stress level down.

I have heard through the grapevine that they will reopen a N2P in September

Congratulations BrianaN! And good luck on your interview Monday dbassi, the panel that I interviewed with was very nice and engaging, they relaxed my nerves. The Nurse recruiter is also very nice.

Can't wait to find out when we start and what unit...I'm nervous/scared but really happy. I think this program is probably one of the best ways to make the transition from nursing student to RN.
