Looking for Classes???

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Published

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post...I've been searching in Philadelphia,PA and it's surrounding suburbs, for a Long Term Care Facility that offers CNA classes to non employees...I know some may require a commitment of employment in exchange for the training, but I fully understand this...I've called the American Red Cross and their classes are $1200.00...My goal is to work as a CNA and get my Nursing degree in the interim. I would greatly appreciate any information..I was also looking in Southern NJ, but since I live in PA would that require a dual certification????...Thanks In Advance,

Thank You,

Welcome to the site! I moved your post to the Pennsylvania Forum where I think you'll get the most responses. Good luck to you.

I work for a LTC in Honeybrook pa which is in Chester County PA. THey taught me to become a CNA, paid for the test. And they are currently paying for my RN education. I have to work for them for 2 yr after graduation. Contact me if you have questions.
