Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for those of us who are starting at LaSalle's PT evening and weekend program this fall. I was accepted a few weeks ago, and I'm currently working on my compliance forms. Any one else in the same boat? Congrats and looking forward to meeting you!

Nope! My classes are TR as well. I have NUR 304 on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 8:55, and NUR 307 on Thursdays at the same time. Is that what you're registered for?

I really hope to see you all Thursday when we supposedly get to order uniforms. here is hoping my navy pants will suffice and I wont need new ones and that I get good news on Tuesday lol

Kristen DeLay. She even gave me a list of what we will need to get but this could be that I have most of the items like the stethoscope, watch, shoes etc since I am coming from another program. I will definitely let you know Tuesday. I hope I am not confusing this with something else. She also said something about orientation being August 16?

That's strange. I emailed her Friday (and immediately got an out of office response) to ask about orientation. I haven't heard a thing about it from the school. I'll just wait for her email. Thanks for letting me know.

I tried looking up the required textbooks for our fall classes, but they're not on the bookstore's site yet - just an fyi.

Sorry I should have put it was when I met with her last week. No email. Since i recently applied I have been doing everything in warp drive so that could be why I was told more.

I think right now the most frustration I am having is with LaSalle background check. I have copies of everything I will need, just waiting on my blood work but my physician and his staff were mad because I got everything done last year but is requiring I do it again. So now I am waiting on the blood work and have them fill out the rest of my PPD info. And since my insurance runs out soon i need to find a plan but not sure where or what I need to look for. Man, I wish Obama extended it to 30 and under so I could go back on my parents lol

How ridiculous for your doctor to be upset with you. My doctor has been great throughout this process. Maybe you should find someone else? My Obama care insurance ran out this year, too, and I found a relatively cheap plan (just under $200) through Aetna. You should shop around, though.

Kristen emailed and confirmed that there's a fitting on Thursday. She said I should have received a flyer with my acceptance letter, but I got my letter in April or May, and I think those letters were sent out later than that. Either way, I'm waiting for her to respond with details about Thursday. I will definitely be there. What are your names?

My name is Kathleen. And after slowly explaining to my physician's office, they now understand lol I get my last PPD done in two weeks (hoping to convince them that since I got my two step last year can I just turn in the one step but doubtful)

I am just not sure how to enter everything. It says I am non-compliant but I am like still no clearances sent back yet, drug test done today and waiting on blood work. I am like give me two weeks American Data Bank lol

I found a cheap plan through IBC but I am sure the $174 will jump up if I do apply for it lol
