Im curious if anyone here can give me some insight on Drexels RN to BSN program...specifically the ONLINE program. Im thinking about applying in a short while. Do you like it? Is it doable? Things like that. Thanks in advance.

I'm almost finished with 's RN to BSN online program. I've loved it. They were super flexible with transfer credits. The advisor will even tell you which clep exams you can take if you prefere those over classes. The instructors are wonderful. There is a fairly strong writing component, but that didn't bother me. Let me know if you have any more questions. It's a little pricey, but transfering in the gen eds from community college saved me tons!

Hi, I'm also interested in the RN to BSN online, I hate to ask more specifics, but how much more expensive. I live in Central Florida, so UCF requires me to have an AA in additon to the AS I just finish in june. I'm also interested in the MSN NP degree that offers. How many semester would it take to complete the BSN @ Drexel? Im trying to figure out wheter I could afford it? Thanks for your input!

I am in FL to and feel the same way about UCF

I have a AAS degree in Nursing

I hope to be joining you in the Fall 2011

Most state universities will require you to have your "basic" education through an AA.

These include the extra classes we didn't take for our AS ---- every AS program is different, but to me it is the most economical to complete an AA, then the RN-BSN when you have an AS.

I prefer a sate university than an online college-- to me the name has a lot of value :yeah:

Maybe all of us who are attending/will be attending the online RN to BSN program at should make a page to just chat or vent....What do you all think? If you want, I could start one on FB...

Sounds good----I say make one-

A message to all. I am a current student in the nursing program. the program is very stressfull, I am in my senior year and thought it would get better but it doesnt. they overwork you! they require you to pass the midpoint HESI and if you dont pass you only get one more change to take it after 3- 6 months but during those months you CAN NOT take ANY nursing courses and if you fail it the second time you are out of the program. also if you fail 2 classes you are out of the program. Make sure you can get financial aid or loans because many students have walked out the financial aid office crying ! because they cant get another loan or dont have a cosigner and DREXEL DOESNT CARE! so make sure you deal with your finacnial aid at the beginning of the term. drexel works in quarters so every 10 weeks youll be in different classes. IF you go into the ACE program be ready because you will have NO life till you are done. during every clinical class you have to take a math test (you have 2 chances to take it -- if you dont pass you fail the class!) remember you can only fail one class if you fail a second one you are out! passing grade for nursing classes is 76.5 which is a 77. im telling you all this because i wish someone had told me before i came to this school, now i have to take ativan for anxiety! so yes i wish i had went to temple , villanova upenn, or widener instead of drexel but now i only got a year left and im done (hopefully)

good luck
