Call them and ask! I am sure the nurse recruiter will be very helpful.

Hi, Crozer does have a geriatric unit. It is called the ACE Unit. It is grouped in the med-surg genre. New grads usually have an eight week orientation. Crozer is a Union Hospital, benefits starting on the first day of hire. I believe that the hospital is not hiring from the outside at this time, but you can always put in an application. They have just hired a large group of GN's to their scheduled PRN pool and are giving them a 6 month orientation. Hope this helps.

I just graduated in may of 07. I don't work at crozer but I have about 10 friends and about 5 family members that do work there. What crozer did with the new grads is put them into a critical care float pool. The state gave a Critical care grant, which included your very own PDA that's actually pretty awesome along with a subscription to skyscape so you can download as many programs as you wanted into the PDA. Also all of the new nurses will be certified for CEN and CCRN..because the hospital will float you to the different floors. Hope I helped!

I also graduate in may. I live in chester county but crozer sounds like a good hosp to work for. But I have to work for the LTC that is putting me thru school but I can work for them part time. If you are pool at crozer can you tell them the days you are available or do they expect you to be available all the time? And I wonder if they will still need more nurses by then.
