Anyone accepted to Roxborough Memorial SON?

Hello, I recently found out that I was accepted for August 1 start. :heartbeat Is there anyone else out there? I think I am 95% sure that i will be attending but this is the only school I heard back from so far. Just wanted to talk with some of you to piece some of the info together! :lol2:

I heard that we will be getting the list for supplies and books in June during our first orientation

I went and talked to *****and we will be getting the supply list at orientation but *****said there is a supply kit that we can purchase with everything that we will need except for our stethoscopes. The supply kit is between $100 and $120. She also said that we had to get our uniforms from the company that comes to orientation and we can purchase them there. She also gave me the paperwork for the background check and child abuse clearance which she said was $10 each and registered me for the A&P review in June. Will any of you guys be attending that got accepted for the upcoming fall?

I will be there too! Thank you for asking about the paperwork and supply list. Helps a lot! Everything is so expensive. But I'm really excited and kind of nervous to start. I look forward to meeting all of you soon. We should start a Facebook group or something so we can all keep in touch. Soon enough we will be sharing every minute together in school :)

Yesss we should start a page! And tub im glad I could help. Everything is expensive which is why I wanted to ask early because I have to start purchasing things now because I also have to save to pay $1600 worth of tuition that was not covered by loans. So far I bout small things like notebooks, folders, a planner, and the little pocket notepads to take note during clinicals. I cant explain how excited I am and looking forward to meeting you guys!! :)

Hey John, congrats on your acceptance. The criminal background check can be done online through PA State Troopers, google, pay $10 &'print it out. The child abuse form is on the dept. of welfare. Print it out and mail it in.
