Patty actually told me after we were finished the interview portion of our meeting that I was going to be accepted and to expect a formal letter in the mail soon. I just got that letter today! I agree, Patty was such a friendly person that I felt very at ease throughout my interview. It was more like a casual conversation.

P.S. Did anyone read the article in the current "Philadelphia" magazine? They asked a panel of local nurses to address a few concerns patients have, like whether or not it's okay to ask a lot of questions. I thought it was a fairly good article, and I actually know one of the nurses they spoke to!

The samething happend to me....After the interview with Patti she told me on the spot that I was accepted and that I would get an Acceptance letter in the mail, which I did.

Patti was sooo nice and pleasant and made the interview and enjoyable process not stressful. I hope all the nursing faculty/professors are just as nice....Patti says that the teachers really want the students to succeed and are always there to help.....That's probably why they were able to achieve 100% pass rate this year on Nclex....

Yes stethoscopes! I just google the word and many come up. They also have on the website their uniform store which is downtown. Thats where we have to purchase the uniform but they have other things, stethoscopes, shoes and things. Here's the website for new students http://www.roxboroughmemorial.com/In...dents_Home.php and here's the website for uniforms store which MUST be purchased by July 1st. http://www.centraluniforms.com/servl...ool/Categories . I think a facebook page would be good
Thanks, Jayden....I'm gonna check these sites out.....

Patti told me that she wanted to accept me right after my interview as well but because I was still completing 3 of the pre reqs plus a history class. She wanted to see my midterm grades to make sure everything was on the up and up. It was I had all As for midterms so once she Rec my midterm grades (I had to print them and mail them) she called me and I was in!

They need the transcripts to verify what prereqs you have taken and check your latest GPA., I would suggest walking them directly to the school if it's taking too much time..Also Teas test is the mandatory entrance exam for nursing school...no one can start school without them...Ask Patti if she can schedule you for the test while they wait for transcripts....This test tests what you have learned thru your prereq classes and high school: math, English/writing, biology, a&p, chemistry, and a little physics....

    Hopes this helps....

i am still very nervous and still waiting, the numbers are rolling down (3 seats left)!!! i was wondering does everyone have to take the teas exam before they get an interview because patti scheduled me for the teas for the 23rd of this month but i didnt do an interview and dont know how many applicants they have for those 3 seats i am so nervous! i dont know if i should just take the teas somewhere else sooner to give in my score sooner or just wait until the 23rd but i am very nervous those 3 seats will go
