Hi there!

Is anybody here from the Reading Hospital? I would like to work in Reading hospital.Can you tell me what is their pay scale for Med/Surg RN.How much they give for relocation and sign-in-bonuses and how much they give for refering a RN.Will they direct hire or i have to go through the recuiter.

I just started there the beginning of the month and I LOVE IT!!! Yes, I do believe you must go through the recruiter and then they will schedule you to interview with the nurse manager of the unit you are applying for. I don't know of any sign on bonuses for LPNs, but it may be different for RNs. The starting salary for an LPN is 14.91 on dayshift, if you work either evenings or nights you get an extra 10%. I will be working second shift so will be getting 16.40/hr. That is about $4 more an hour than the hospitals in Lancaster COunty are paying!! I forget how much $$ they give for referring RNs, but they do offer that. Not sure they do anything for relocation, you would really have to call the recruiter for that info. I have contact info for one of the nurse recruiters if you need it, please let me know and i will send it to you. So far I absolutely love it there, everyone is very helpful and friendly, i just hope it stays that way!! Good Luck!!
