Any excelsior grads here in PA?

I have heard in some areas it is hard to find a job if you are an excelsior grad for various reasons, but don't know anyone here in PA to ask. I plan on calling around to some of the local facilities to feel them out, but in the meantime..........anyone here who graduated or knows of someone who graduated from excelsior (LPN to RN), please share with me if you had difficulties finding a job. Oh, and I know you can't sit for NCLEX in Maryland, but am I correct that you can't endorse in either? Thanks!

Hi Pip - I'm an Excelsior Grad from 5 years ago. Have had no problems with jobs. I was an LPN working at a hospital and getting tuition paid for when I did the program, then I just moved into an RN position with that same hospital.

Why don't you call and ask the hospitals where you plan to work if they hire Excelsior grads?
