AI Dupont

I graduate in May and just finished a rotation at AI Dupont in Wilmington. It truly enjoyed and would be very interested in working there. The only problem is I have to also work for a LTC facility at least as Pool for 1 yr to payoff my tuition reimbursement. Does anyone know if Dupont hires GN as pool or on weekends?

Thanks

I don't know DuPont's hiring practices, but I would strongly caution you against tryng to enter into a new area of nursing as a new grad working on only an occasional basis. Adapting to the role of an RN in a new clinical setting is best achieved by working full-time, or in a regular part-time position with a set schedule and predictable hours. It is almost impossible to get oriented to a facility and clinical area working at most once or twice a week. That's why those jobs are usually taken by experienced nurses.

Good luck in your job search!
