The HUP Nursing Alumni Association commissioned artist Kathleen Shaver HUP’76, to create an art installation to honor the history and legacy of 125 years of nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. It consists of 27 framed oil paintings on canvas depicting the evolution of Nursing at Penn.

I found many pieces of nursing history traveling this gallery from this early instrument set
to the first Penn nurse anesthetist
