LPN to RN Schools in/near Philadelphia?

Hi, I am a LPN student about to graduate in 4 months and was wondering if anyone knew of a LPN to RN school in the area? I am willing to do online but I would prefer classroom setting and I am looking for a Fulltime/ fastest route to RN. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.. Thanks

CCP has an lpn-rn option. The LPNs joined our class during our second (out of four) semester.

Thank you for that info, I heard that there is such a waiting list for CCP and DCCC and they only let a certain amount of LPN per class. But I will look into it to get my own info....Thanks !

I can't say for sure about the LPN admissions, but I do know that some people believe that CCP regular admissions has a waiting list. There is NO waiting list for the regular (non-LPN) admissions, so maybe the same goes for the LPN admissions.

And, with any program they are only going to let in a certain amount of students...

And actually, I've heard that it is possible to only be required to complete the last 2 semesters, but you must be able to pass the maternity/OB portion of the placement exam. Again, this is just info I've heard from some of my LPN classmates.

Hello I am also a lpn student, and I would like to know is it just one year for lpn-rn at ccp, and what are gpa requirements? Do you have to take a test to opt out of nursing 101? Have CCP always had this program lpn rn route or its fairly new? any info would be much appreciated thanks

Abington Dixon School of Nursing has a LPN to RN option.

I currently attend the school and we had a few LPNs join as the first year went on. One in the first semester and one in the second semester.

Hope that helps!
