Just spotted a new grad posting at UPenn posted today


This was just posted today:

It's tele and it actually says "New Grads Welcome". Wow.

Thought I'd pass it along, as I was just cruising the site. I won't finish my BSN until May.

I work at Jefferson Regional. There were new grads in the new employee orientation done just a little while ago.

Is it bad elsewhere?

Yes.

Philadelphia has been a tough job market lately, especially for new grads.

Thats a shame. My hospital just hired on new grads, some went to ICU, others to an observation unit. One girl just passed boards in TX, moved here with her husband and has less that a year experience.

And yet...............everyone says layoffs are pending.

Its a mess of a puzzle to solve.

Yes, I noticed it had disappeared only a day or two later. They probably got an avalanche of applicants.

Jefferson Regional is in Pittsburgh PA ...that area is still hiring new grads. Very different from scant new grad positions in Philadelphia area.
