As a new grad in MA, the fact that I got an interview anywhere, never mind in pediatrics which is what I want (granted in a clinic rather than hospital, but still) is like winning the lottery- jobs for new grads are literally non-existent.
That said, I've been told that in the interview I will be asked triage/peds scenario questions- ie, what I would do in certain situations/prioritization. I am reviewing my Peds textbook, but if any of you Peds nurses have any examples of very likely questions/scenarios and answers, I would be so appreciative!
I graduated last Dec. and if I get this job, I will still be among the earliest in my class to get hired- most are still unemployed (and yes, I've been applying in other states as well!). I really want to land this job, so I any help at all I'd be so grateful! Thanks.
