Syringe PsiRegister Today!
- by cheryld Mar 8, '05I thought that the bigger the syringe, the less the psi. I was flushing a line and was told to get a smaller syringe, that the bigger syringe would blow the vein. I was using a 10 cc syringe, and they told me that I needed a 1 or 3 cc syringe. Which is correct?
- Mar 8, '05 by DelightRNYou are correct. The smaller syringes have greater pressure.

If someone you work with needs an analogy, get them to think about the psi in their car tire as compared to their bike tire!
