Peds Wound Care/ Case Management

I have 5 years of inpatient peds experience at a children's hospital. I'm considering a job with peds wound care that will include outpatient clinic/some inpatient care/case management. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on making this move? What differences should I expect going from inpatient care to more of a specialty role? How can I better prepare myself for this job?
