I have a 2 year old who developed failure to thrive due to excessive vomiting at around 1 year old. He had a Nissan fundoplication to prevent vomiting and had a mic-key button put in. Aspiration precautions are the norm for tube fed patients. But if he can't vomit does he still need strict aspiration precautions?

Nissens can 'loosen' over time. The precautions are still appropriate.
