    I'm curious to know out there if micropreemies typically receive IM hepatitis shots, or if there are alternative routes for them to get it, to decrease pain/stress in these little ones? Would like to know if anyone has info on best practice out there for this. Thanks!!

    On my NICU, it is standard for the hepatitis b vaccine to be given, but we will wait until the baby is closer to going home before administering the vaccine, when they are usually much bigger than they were upon admission.
