by Fall.out.nerd Aug 15, '12Hello everyone,
I'm a newly graduated RN who will be starting my new graduate guarantee in September working in the NICU/pediatrics/ special care nursery.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to expect, what courses I should be looking into taking, as well as what textbooks/ journals you would suggest I look into.
I really appreciate any advice that can be provided

- Aug 19, '12 by Nurse ConnieHi, I'm also a new grad starting in the NICU next month. I'll also be floating to peds occasionally. My nurse manager recommended Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing and just to go over my peds textbooks. I hope you get more responses, good luck!
- Aug 19, '12 by Fall.out.nerdThanks I'll have to look into that text. My manger has been on holidays so I'm going to call I. A day or so to see what her recommendations are.
Good luck in your starting
