technology in primary health care

I know that health teaching/education is one of the nurse's role. I'm doing a research on the different technologies available in the different countries used by nurses or other health professionals to promote health education or to teach clients about health, prevention of diseases and coping mechanisms. I'm a second year nursing student in the Philippines and based in a city where the facilities and tools are very limited. I'd like to compare the technology we have to other countries. I will be presenting my research to class. Can anyone let me know what available technologies (gadgets, tools) you use or the primary health care system is like in your area? What particular gadgets are used to spread the word on health, to control communicable diseases, expand programs on immunization, etc? Any input on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
