Any Sentara Care Partners here?

Actually, yes, it's only a dollar for the shift differential. I'm also a nursing care partner at sentara but I never took the care partner course.

it's ok sometimes. I work the night shift at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Hey, i put my app in for the care partner. Just took the wonderlic last week. Still waiting for my results so i can move forward. To be honest it wasnt an easy test. I only go through to question 11 b4 time ran out idk if thats good or bad?? Let me know your experience please :)

It's not bad. There's no real "pass or "fail". You should hear something in the next week or so. Good luck!

I got in & passed the test. But ive chosen to go with a different place because its half the price as sentara, they do evening classes, its only 7 weeks, & you get certified by the state of VA.

Hi Mee!

Care Partners were something specifically designed for the Sentara Health Care system, so we are trained to do CNA work along with EKG's, Foley catheters and phlebotomy. We work hand in hand with the nurses in a hospital setting on an array of floors and ages.

Yep, I know two lovely ladies that work there now. One works directly with the babies and another works with the mamas.

See the hospital I work at requires you have been through a CNA course, in which I have, but in my home state, a class completion is only worth 2 years and you have to retake the course. My completion expiration is soon and I just now having a phone interview about a care partner position in newborn nursery
