    Has anyone been using Kleenex Anti-Viral tissue? With flu season heading into full swing I was wondering if anyone is taking precautions outside of getting the shot.

    I don't think a tissue can guarantee that all virus particles are caught. Plus the virus is not killed instantly. I would think the benefit of using tissues is the initial blocking of aerosolized virus particles not so much the anti-viral quality.

    according to infectious disease at my hospital, the live virus only lives on tissue for a few minutes anyhow.

    yep sounds gimicky to me too.
    I will just use a regular tissue and then wash hands.
