Flu Vaccine

In my area of the world, (maybe other places too?) our seasonal flu vacc has been in dire short supply. I had flu vacc clinics scheduled throughout October and November, but had to cancel because we had no vaccine! All our neighboring hospitals and public health are in the same boat. It seems the seasonal flu vacc is delayed because the manufacturers were busy producing H1N1 vaccine. So my fear now is, could it happen that the seasonal flu will become the over-arching nemesis? The manufacturers keep promising we'll get our full shipment, but by then, what if it's too late?
